After being assigned a murder investigation against a madman known only as "The Engineer" a (this blog) shady police detective is drawn into a strange world of murder, sadism, and madness.
After the Hellraiser films were no longer shown in cinemas, Inferno was released on DVD a few years later. However, it's difficult to determine what inspired this picture since it doesn't seem like a Hellraiser movie. Instead, it's more of a psychological horror murder mystery, and it could easily stand alone without Pinhead or any mention of Hellraiser. Probably because that's how it was written initially... they simply threw Pinhead in there and voila! The fifth installment! Oh, no...
